ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also called Render Output Units) are responsible for outputting the pixels (image) to the screen. The figure is worked out by multiplying the number of Raster Operations Pipelines by the clock speed of the card. Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum number of pixels that the graphics chip can possibly record to its local memory in one second - measured in millions of pixels per second. It is measured in millions of texels in one second. The higher the texel rate, the better the video card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF).
This figure is worked out by multiplying the total texture units by the core speed of the chip.

If it uses DDR type RAM, it must be multiplied by 2 once again. The number is calculated by multiplying the bus width by its memory clock speed. Memory Bandwidth: Memory bandwidth is the max amount of data (counted in megabytes per second) that can be transported across the external memory interface in one second.
